Welcome to the LVHS Ski Team!
Since the first day of practice is just 4 days away, we wanted to send you a few reminders before the season gets started.
Please make sure that you have turned in the following paperwork to LVHS Main Office ASAP. All forms are available at the LVHS Main Office.
- Concussion/Head Injury Info & Procedures & Online Baseline Test
- Wyoming High School Activities Association Eligibility Form
- Informed Consent and Emergency Contact Form
- Physical Exam Medical Record
- Pay to Play
- LVHS Code of Conduct
FIRST DAY OF PRACTICE is Monday November 16th. We will meet at 3:45PM in the Ski Room (upstairs of the main gym)
We’ll be practicing outside; it might be 20 degrees or 60 degrees, so please come prepared for any conditions (That means athletic clothing – jeans are not acceptable – running shoes, gloves, hat, jacket, etc. ) Please bring a water bottle, running watch (doesn’t have to be fancy), and a snack for after practice.
Tuesday November 17th – MANDATORY PARENT ATHLETE MEETING
5:30PM in the LVHS Library
We will go over expectations for the season, pass out required waivers and our Team Code of Conduct. It is important that both athletes and at least one parent attend. We will have breakfast sign ups for the entire season at this meeting, but if one or two families would be willing to take the first breakfast on WEDNESDAY NOV 18th, please email Emily at Landerskicoach. Breakfast should be served in the main commons at 6:45am and feed about 40 athletes. Here are some easy ideas.
TEAM JACKET & HAT ORDER IS DUE BY MIDNIGHT ON THE 17th

You will receive a $40 credit when you checkout to help offset the cost of your jacket. Purchase is NOT required but these are appropriate warm up jackets and are recommended.
Saturday November 21st
7:30AM – All Athletes meet in front of the commons to help set up
8:30AM – Gear drop off
9AM-11AM – Annual Ski and Gear Swap and Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast Pancake Breakfast ticket sales are due before the Ski Swap! Checks should be made out to LVHS Ski Team. This is a major fundraiser for the ski team. Athletes will be hot waxing skis and assisting patrons.
